We are a new firm of pensions consultants based in the heart of Leamington Spa. Our business is the provision of advice to sponsoring employers and trustees about their company pension schemes. Our philosophy is based on two central ideals. Firstly, that the advice and services we provide need to be innovative and of the highest quality; and secondly, that it is essential that this advice and service is provided as cost-efficiently as possible.

Experience

Derrick and Steve have each spent over 20 years advising on pensions. Derrick has spent over 10 years at KPMG Pensions advising the boards of companies and pension scheme trustees on running their defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Steve has over 10 years' experience as an Independent Financial Adviser, advising corporate clients on all matters of employee benefit provision.

Cost Aware

Pensions Consultants are not often seen as part of the solution to the spiralling costs of defined benefit schemes – they are more often seen as part of the problem. Aspect is different because we understand the problems facing modern Defined Benefit schemes; many of which are closed to new entrants and future service. These schemes are changing and they need new solutions that are simpler, safer and more affordable.

We provide a truly independent voice in the defined benefit market that can challenge your scheme's providers to give you better value.

Understanding is Key

Our job can be difficult; to turn the jargon spoken and the information given by actuaries, providers, fund managers and government into something understandable and useful. But if you believe that understanding is key to making informed decisions - as we do - this is one of the most important roles of the consultant. Derrick McEvoy and Steve Hubball have had over forty years' experience between them translating the language of pensions into a language that you can understand.

Financial Consultants

Aspect Pension Consultants provide an holistic solution to the financial and tax-planning need of the directors of its client companies via introductions to its parent company Aspect Financial Consultants Ltd . Both Derrick and Steve are also directors and authorised advisers of the parent company.
